… if I may say so myself.

Last week my friend Michelle posted an intriguing mosaic created by Flickr and based on select keywords and personal preferences. What fun.

Since I have that distasteful habit of talking about myself a tad too often, I thought this was a perfect roundabout. So instead of telling you about myself, I’m gonna show you.

If you are interested in creating your own “Bella” Mosaic, here’s the scoop.

a. Type your answer to each of the questions below into Flickr Search.
b. Using only the first page, pick an image.
c. Copy and paste each of the URLs for the images into fd’s mosaic maker.

1. What is your first name?
2. What is your favorite food?
3. What high school did you go to?
4. What is your favorite color?
5. Who is your celebrity crush?
6. Favorite drink?
7. Dream vacation?
8. Favorite dessert?
9. What you want to be when you grow up?
10. What do you love most in life?
11. One Word to describe you.
12. Your flickr name.

Plan to play? Be sure and let me know so I can check it out!

Everyone is playing, I may have to do this one myself. Not today, and probably not at Frutto della Passione, forse at Much Ado About Pictures, soon I promise!

  2. You do hae to do it Joanne! Your picture blog would be ideal.

It is Ryan Gosling. He is just one of my latest “cuties.”

    Do it, Amber! Do it.

Thanks Nadine. I actually had to do it twice, some of the images weren’t available the first time. It was worth it, though!

  3. Ok, Ive done it. It was harder than I thought picking out the photos I liked that I felt was most representative. Come check me out!

On 16 May 2006, Flickr updated its services from beta to “gamma”, along with a design and structural overhaul. According to the site’s FAQ, the term “gamma”, rarely used in software development, is intended to be tongue-in-cheek to indicate that the service is always being tested by its users, and is in a state of perpetual improvement…^
