We’re wrapping up a new Red Guide at RCC which means pulling all-nighter after all-nighter and we are trrrrying so hard to put the final touches on Il Cedro. Almost forgetting today was Love Thursday, I planned to post about Peppe and his “hoe” – but that will have to wait!
Instead, I leave you with this picture of my great-grandfather and his 2nd wife. Although taken a few years ago, “Paw Paw Manshack” recently celebrated his 95 birthday! You know how? By eating gumbo, drinking beer, entertaining us with his harmonica, and dancing the jitterbug with his daughters, granddaughters, and great-granddaughters!
I sure hope that energy is in the genes!

Yea, like I said this picture was several years ago – but he still looks the SAME! Can you believe it? I peeked in his medicine cabinet last time I was there to check out his moisturizer! Looks like Oil of Olay, ladies!!
