It’s February, the month dedicated to love. With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, shops are bursting with chocolates, hearts (the bigger the better) and sweets for your sweet!

Southern Italy has some pretty romantic restaurants that would seriously impress your date and guarantee a “bella figura”.

CAMPANIA

Campania, especially along the Amalfi Coast, has a plethora of restaurants that offer swoon-worthy panoramas. Puglia is such an enchanting region in southern Italy with its delightful Trulli and impressive rocky coves. BASILICATA

Matera was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site for the Sassi cave dwellings. This town, which seems literally frozen in time, is undoubtedly captivating. The town has seen increased visitors after being named the 2019 Capital of Culture by the Ministry of Travel and Tourism in Italy. Here you can stay in trendy cave hotels. CALABRIA
