I try to keep this blog as professional as possible and not really discuss my personal life! Ha! As if…(and yes, that was an intentional throwback to Alicia Silverstone in Clueless!)

We all know my life is an open book, and not always as simple as Paperino!

So – I absolutely must share with you our latest ground-breaking news, and when I say ground-breaking I mean…literally…we’re breaking the ground!

As hard as it is to believe, there are contractors who work in August. I know, because they started this week breaking the ground for our new house.

This is more or less where the house will be built.

After two years of working with the architect, pushing paperwork, and making plans we are finally getting started, and it’s all in the hands of a Bobcat!

Are you having a house built? That’s really great if you are. I’d love to have a house especially built.

Those guys must have been baking hot working in the heat today.

Well the real celebration will come when it is paid for. So, did you have a lot of say in the design? What cool things does it have…lots of windows…a cool kitchen…a hot tub…?

Hi Delina! Yes, we are building a house! I don’t HOW they can work outside in this heat, seriously!!!

PP – Thank you so much. We are excited, too.

Maryann – Thanks. We are taking a few pics every day. We want to track the progress, too!

Farfallina – Ciao! I know it will be a lot of work. Poor Pep wakes up at 6:45 with THEM every day!

Confessions – Ha ha ha…VERY funny!

J – We’ve been working with the architect for 2 years now. It has American closets! ha ha A MUST, you know! It has (or, uh, will have) a private balcony off of the kitchen and the master suite, and a rustic kitchen downstairs (like an entertainment room) to have guests over, cook in a wood-burning oven, etc…Fun stuff, eh?? I am still working on the jacuzzi!

    Thanks, Stacy!

Nadine. Thank you. We are excited.

Megan – my head is aching a little right now…think that is why?!?!

Sogn – Thanks!! It ain’t too purty right now…just a big ole hole!

Thank you, Jenn! I hope it goes well (AND FAST) too!
