This unique cooking and culinary experience takes guests into the personal home of a local family where they will learn to prepare homemade Calabrese specialists such as stuffed eggplant, homemade pasta, Calabrian sauces, patate e pipi and more.

Our very own Zia Rosa and daughter, Cristina, are culinary heavyweights who create dishes using fresh, local ingredients they gather from local vendors, markets and family members.

In some cases, previous participants have requested dishes “that nonna used to make,” and they’ve been able to reproduce and highlight them during the cooking class and meal.

Each cooking experience includes

– local aperitvo snacks and drinks while cooking

– hands-on cooking lesson based on the guest’s personal tastes and preferences

– a full Calabrese meal, complete with antipasto, primo, secondo, side items and more

– wine, digestive liquors, dessert and coffee

Not Included:

-Transportation to/from the cooking experience outside of the Catanzaro Lido area


Prices vary based on group size but start at €155 per person.
